Have some leftover fabrics and some old wooden beads at home? Turn them into this beautiful liberty fabric beads necklace! I saw this awesome idea by Red Blossom Designs on Youtube. It8217;s a great way to upcycle old beads you no longer like. This is definitely a statement piece. Plus, it pairs perfectly with any outfit this summer. Read on or watch the video below for full instructions.
- 3.548243; x 43.38243; printed fabric (choose a colorful fabric with prints)
- 20 wooden beads
- 21 pieces of 0.28243; coil end for cord
Fold your fabric in half lengthwise. Fold your paper strip in half and place it on your folded fabric aligned on the folded side. Make a mark and move it a few inches away and mark again. Trace the marks with a ruler. Repeat until you reach the other end.
Twist one of the ends of the fabric and insert one coil. After that, insert one bead into the fabric. Next, twist it again and insert one of the coils. Make sure that the bead is in the center of the fabric. Repeat with the remaining beads and coils alternating on the two ends to make sure it8217;s balanced. Once done, cut the triangular ends.
