This fun 3D quilt pattern from Teresa DownUnder on Youtube may look intimidating at first glance, but it’s quite easy to make. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned quilter, I’m sure you’ll have the best time making this quilt. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step-by-step instructions.
Materials:
- 60-degree ruler (or a regular one with a 60-degree marking)
- dark colored fabric
- medium colored fabric
- light colored fabric
- rotary cutter
- mat
Directions:
Step 1
To start, cut one light-colored 38243; inch strip x width of fabric and two dark-colored 2 & 1/28243; strips. Sew them together with the light fabric in the middle. Next, cut one 38243; strip c width of fabric in a light color and two 2 & 1/28243; strips in a medium color. Sew them together with the light fabric in the middle also. Cut both pieces at a 60-degree angle in opposite directions and cut the strips of fabric at 2 & 1/28243; intervals. (Check every few strips if the 60-degree angle is accurate and adjust if necessary).

Step 2
Now, trim off the first unit in the opposite direction to the previous rectangle. Cut strips again at 2 & 1/28243; intervals. After you all have your strip set, cut them again in half at a 60-degree angle. Start assembling them once you8217;ve cut all your pieces (see the picture below). Once you8217;re satisfied with the layout, sew them in strips, then sew the strips together. (Each tumbling block is about 4 & 1/28243; x 3 & 7/88243😉
