Your phone charger especially white-colored ones are prone to becoming dirty and having a lot of gunk. This buildup of dirt may become even bigger over time and eventually turns into a breeding ground for bacteria. This may be difficult to clean because it won’t go away by simply rubbing it off with some water, you need a cleaning solution that is not too harsh for your charger but is enough to remove unwanted dirt. Personally, I’ve tried a lot of tricks from the internet, and most of them work just fine, but I was still looking for an easier and simpler cleaning trick that uses a simple solution and requires less effort. One of my favorite go-to cleaning tricks is using a sanitizer spray that I learned through this video tutorial by Effective Life Hacks on YouTube. Spray the sanitizer all over the charger wire and power plug and leave it for about 2 minutes. After a few minutes, apply a few more sprays of sanitizer on a cloth, then start rubbing the wire clean as well as the power plug, and repeat the application process as needed or until the charger is white.
