One of my very favorite ideas in this video tutorial is to install a magnet at the end of your hammer, by simply using s hot glue gun. You can then, attach all of your nails that you need for a given project so you have them handy for nailing.  

In this awesome video tutorial, there is also a wonderful idea to make a tool belt holder for your hammer using a pipe.
