I just saw my first tire planter yesterday at a restaurant where my family and I were eating and I was so blown away, I couldn8217;t wait to get home and start researching Youtube to find a tire planter tutorial for my new screened-in porch at our ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas. Low and behold, one of my very first search results yielded the most magnificent planters I had ever laid eyes on, The DIY Swan Tire Planter! All I can say is, Wow, what a great idea! I couldn8217;t wait to get started so I quickly assembled my materials to begin this awesome project!
- White Marker
- Angle Grinder
- Car Tire
- Metal Cutting Discs (a circular saw)
- Strip Of Sheet Metal
- Sheet Metal Screws (16mm)
- Sheet Metal Shears (or something that will cut metal)
- Screw Gun
Then you can paint your beautiful swan with Krylon Spray Paint or just leave it in a lovely and natural (in the raw) state to create a fabulous black swan. I did a black and a white swan and they looked so amazing on my screened-in back porch at my ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas. I have all the neighbors making them too, they are so beautiful, everyone loves them. You cannot go wrong with a cheap and easy DIY Project like this one, it8217;s a winner!
